Paraglide Maui’s location is on the protected lee side of the 10,000′ tall Mount Haleakala. This location protects us from the trade winds and allows us to fly 7 mornings a week (weather permitting) all year round.
Paraglide Maui flies tandem instructional flights primarily from our 6500′ launch called Ferns and later in the morning from our 4500′ launch called Echos.
Both of these launches are located in the lee of Mount Haleakala allowing ideal calm conditions every morning of the year. Our training hill has four different launches that Solo Students progress through as they go through their training. Due to the calm consistent weather and our multiple training hill launches, there is no better place in the world to learn to paraglide.
